- Rüdiger Groß-Hardt:"Simulation des EDDA-Detektors - erste Ergebnisse"
shows results of GEANT based simulations of the coplanar EDDA trigger, taking into
account elastic and inelastic proton proton events.
- U. Roß: "Simulationen zum EDDA-Experiment
mit GISMO und MICRES" gives a very short overview on GISMO and a brief introduction
to MICRES. An estimation of the influence of carbon background to the trigger rates
at kinetic beam energy 793 MeV is presented and compared to
experimental data .
- Eric Weise: "Simulationsrechnung zur elastischen Streuung polarisierte Protonen"
simulates the efficiency for elastic pp-events. The efficiency of the
trigger and the reconstruction software is compared with and without inner layer.
The results are used to calculate a parametrization of the efficiency depending on
the beam momentum and scattering angle. Finally a new event generator for simulating
polarized elastic scattering events is developed.

- Dietmar Theis:"Inelastic Hadron-Nucleus Collisions for General Purpose Detector
Simulations at Intermediate Energies" describes the MICRES event generator in more
detail and presents countrate predictions for the polyethylene target in the EDDA
experiment and a simulation program for the ARCOLE detector.
